Front and back doors come in many different styles, such as fully glazed, half glazed and can include vertical muntins in either the top half, bottom half or both.

The most popular style for a modern front door is achieved by using moulded in-fill panels which come in a huge range of designs with many different glazing options from plain clear toughened glass, through obscure pattern glass to coloured and or leaded designs. All of which may include letter boxes, knockers, spy holes, numbers and handles in various finishes such as white, gold, chrome, silver or even black.

Composite doors are the new kids on the block, they are becoming more and more popular nowadays as they are much more like the traditional wooden front doors we are all used to. Many styles are available for these doors and there is a wide range of colours available, the most popular style is to have your door colour outside to match your home or your personality and to have the internal face and frame in white. Coloured frames and doors coloured on the inside are also available but obviously this does increase the cost somewhat.

French doors are the most popular design for opening on to a patio or into a conservatory as they can be inward or outward opening to avoid encroaching into valuable space. A French door may be used as a single door for easy access or both doors fully opened for maximum ventilation or access for larger items such as furniture. Having both doors open is especially useful when entertaining as two rooms then become one, giving guests more freedom to mix.

Sliding Patio doors are another option for people to consider as they do not encroach on the living space when opened, but the aperture for access is limited to less than half the overall width of the door frame.

Bi-Fold or Fold-back doors are the very latest idea to bring the outside into your home as they can be manufactured up to nearly 6 metres wide and open 'concertina' style to give you maximum access between rooms or between house and garden.

Garage doors are available to suit all applications. They may be manually operated or electrically operated by remote control with manual overide. Colours or woodgrains, plain, paneled, ribbed, in steel, GRP, or wood even incorporating windows. Garage doors are also available as insulated versions.
